On the Pond

Welcome to Big Island Pond, New Hampshire where my granddad has spent his summers since he was five years old, also where my dad spent every summer, and I have been coming all of my life.

After NYC we drove up to New Hampshire to spend time with my 91 year old grandfather and his beautiful wife Montse.  He is thrilled that he has another summer at his “camp” on Escumbuit Island on BIP.  Also present – my dad, sister Kolby, grandmother Joanna, Aunt Tami, Uncle Cagney, and Uncle Pete.

We slept in the boat house and woke up to the sounds of waves hitting rocks outside, went fishing (even caught a few), swimming, and sailing… oh and ate some fantastic clams & lobster.

One of my favorite places in the whole world… this tiny island where legends of Chief Escumbuit are whispered around campfires late into the evening.
