Since we can’t be with our moms today, we decided to honor them by sharing something special about them.

Sandra, Bryan’s mom, knows how to throw a party.  It’s the time and thoughtfulness that she put into them that stands out.  She took Bryan’s current interest of the moment, and created memorable birthday events.  She spent hours putting together the Olympics, Army parties, and many others.  His childhood friends still talk about the themes and games they played!

I look back fondly on the endless hours I spent in the water with my mom, Deana, growing up.  Whether it was learning how to waterski or hearing my mom cheer for me during her swim meets as a little girl, memories being in the water stand out. My mom was a lifeguard on the beach in south Florida and a college swimmer, and she took the time to include me with the things she is passionate about.

While these are just small things, it speaks to their character.  We are so thankful for you both and love you very much.
