Dumplings 101
What better way to enjoy the weekend than an impromptu night with friends learning how to make Chinese dumplings. Thanks to our friend Jen Li’s instructions, and her mother who called numerous times for dumpling status updates, we feasted on delicious dumplings. It took an army of friends to mix, chop, roll the dough, fill it, fold each close, and boil them. Filled with pork, shrimp, green onions, and chives, these dumplings were to die for. As if dumplings weren’t enough, Jen also taught us how to make scallion pancakes and a chili & sesame cucumber salad. Yum! Here are some photos that capture the experience.
